My services are designed educate clients on Posture Principles and how to move effectively. This includes whether you are in acute or chronic phases of any muscular skeletal injury, have poor movement patterns, are an amateur or professional sports athlete, dancer, or martial artist, etc.
A top priority in my services includes education on how we should first strive to keep ourselves from getting to the point of acute or chronic pain. Of course accidents and injuries will occur that require immediate attention. Aside from these situations, we must examine our entire lifestyle to look for those factors that pull us out of well being.
Most of the acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain clients that I have treated over the last twenty years have been compensating and adapting from postural distortions for many years. So my point is that by the time you start experiencing pain symptoms, the underlying causes have existed for some time. We don’t teach in our society about posture and human body kinesiology from a young age, so people do not have the awareness and tools to address distortions before acute and conditions establish themselves.
